Shavlik NetChk Protect provides security for older programs
I appreciate the convenience of Shavlik in that it saves me both time and money by allowing me to patch the entire network (25 servers, 450 desktops) from the comfort of my desk. Productive's Take: as Microsoft begins to end support for their older products in order to migrate users to Vista, keeping your older Microsoft products secure is going to be challenging without a product that supports those updates.
